The Special Event Company, a full-service experiential live and virtual event agency, is excited to announce they are hosting a studio for a day giveaway. Nominations will open on Giving Tuesday, November 30 and close on Sunday, January 16. Four non-profit or community support organizations will be selected, and each will receive a live virtual event or virtual communication to help support their mission and communicate with their network. This is equivalent to a $100,000 donation to the community.
The studio for a day giveaway is the first of its kind from The Special Event Company, who recently opened their own virtual communication and broadcast studio in March. “I knew we needed to help our clients continue communicating to their customers, staff and stakeholders when live events were cancelled and postponed as a result of the pandemic, and opening The Studio was how we adapted to those needs,” said CEO, Sally Webb.
“We’ve been able to survive the pandemic thanks to our amazing employees, clients and industry partners who have made our continued growth and success possible amidst unprecedented times, and it’s our time to give back to those organizations doing good in our community who may not have the means to plan and execute a professional virtual event,” Webb stated.
The giveaway will consist of four half days of planning, pre-production, rehearsal, and a live virtual broadcast and includes a graphics package to match the organization’s brand. The Special Event Company welcomes nominations for any Triangle area non-profit or community support organization. Nominations can be submitted from the non-profit or organization itself, or from its volunteers, supporters, stakeholders and community members. The winners will be announced on The Special Event Company’s social media platforms in early February 2022.
